Inveraray & Oban We drive along the shores of Loch Fyne to visit the pretty white-walled town of Inveraray, one of Scotland's loveliest small towns, home to an imposing castle and the fascinating jail. Then skirting mighty Ben Cruachan we reach the popular resort of Oban.
Loch Lomond & Hill House Enjoy the majestic views of “Rest & Be Thankful” en route to Loch Lomond. Next we head for Hill House, Helensburgh (SNT). Sitting high above the Clyde it is widely regarded as Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s finest domestic creation, and is home to original Mackintosh furniture and interior design, as well as attractive formal gardens. Errata - Hill House is closed for our
1 November departure, instead of the Loch Lomond and Hill House tour we shall feature an excursion to the Kyles of Bute. 14/01/10
